![]() ![]() I lost the thief after the scene but I was then able to go the the beggar over the street (NW corner of square) and progress in the quest. I kept doing this until I got him towards the West end of the street by the band that plays in the square. ![]() He got scared and ran away from me towards the square. Next, I positioned myself in front of him so his back was towards the square and used Igni. That didn't quite work out as he'd eventually circle around me. When a cloaked figure came by, I tried to bump/push him towards the square. On the street that goes W/E at the bottom of the square, I went East, past the juggler/begger/guards, to the intersection where the street comes down and curves to the East. I figured that I'd have to force one there. Also there is no achievement for completing. I don't think you can do both anyway, you're supposed to do one. Also means you get to avoid the doorman first time round. In fact none ever showed up in the square. You can also do it a third way by finding the sewer entrance under the bridge entering novigrad with the smugglers cache. No thieves (cloaked figures / shady characters) ever showed up in or near the yellow circles. Talking to beggars didn't get me anywhere. Which is why i'm actively bumping this thread, I demand a reaction from CDPR staff, I reckon that it is my right as a costumer to ask for.I was stuck here too. They are not taking some of those huge game breaking bug issues seriously. This truely has ruined my game experience and I'm highly disappointed in this company and their costumer support. I currently got 67hours into my save game, with no sign that CDPR is going to fix it any time soon or not. I've atleast expected an staff member to roam those tech forums and at the very least assure people that they are working on it or SOMETHING. I've contacted them on twitter and facebook also, nada. I've contacted support 3 days ago about this, I've found 1 post about this on GoG forums(of which i cannot find the source right now) one of the CDRP staff members reacted and told people to send their save games individually to him and he will contact their QA staff for them and fix their saves. ![]() I guess CDPR cares more about graphical bugs then they care about game braking bugs. ![]()
